Ike Kanakanui was born in Oahu, Hawaii and raised in Southern California. He joined the Navy as an (EOD) diver and was stationed in Sicily. While in Sicily, he was able to travel and experience many different genres of music. He got out of the military to pursue travel, music, and his real passion, people. Ike currently resides on "The Freedom Boat" in Key West, Florida. He has opened for such bands as Third World and Pato Banton.
