28th Annual Key West Lobsterfest – 2025 Festival Update | Cancelled 

The Key West Lobsterfest Committee regrets to announce that the 28th Annual Key West Lobsterfest, originally planned for August 7–10, 2025, has been placed on hiatus. This decision follows careful and thorough consideration, driven by significant challenges due to a change in sponsorship and the associated logistical complexities.

Initially set to feature a vibrant four-day culinary celebration, the festivities were to include a traditional Lobster Boil at the historic Porter Mansion courtyard, a lively pool party at Marker Key West Harbor Resort, and the popular Duval Pub Crawl. Additionally, Duval Street was to transform into an energetic street fair offering diverse lobster-centric dishes, accompanied by a free concert and concluding with the renowned Lobster Brunch at First Flight Island Restaurant & Brewery.

However, after evaluating the event's trajectory, the committee concluded it could not meet the high standards and expectations held by both the community and attendees this year. They extend sincere apologies to the dedicated local restaurants, vendors, and loyal guests who consistently support Lobsterfest and contribute to its renowned success.

While the festival will not proceed this year, the committee remains committed to securing new sponsorship and refining event plans, with the aspiration of returning next year with a revitalized Lobsterfest. Visitors and locals alike are encouraged to continue enjoying fresh Florida spiny lobster at Key West restaurants and through local lobstering activities, as the season remains open from August through March.
