The 30th Annual Key West Songwriters Festival returns April 29 – May 3, 2026, bringing five unforgettable days of music, storytelling, and discovery to stages across the island. Celebrated as the world’s largest festival of its kind, this milestone event showcases over 200 acclaimed and emerging songwriters across 60+ shows at iconic local venues.

Sloppy Joe’s Bar anchors two major performances during the week:

• May 1, 2026 from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM

• May 3, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:45 PM

Fury Water Adventures adds a tropical twist to the festival experience with its Live Music Sunset Sails. These offshore concerts blend Caribbean breezes, ocean views, and intimate sets performed by festival artists aboard a Fury catamaran—an island-exclusive event that combines music with maritime charm.

From historic stages like San Carlos Institute to modern settings such as Key West Theater, this all-island event is a platform for future legends. Past alumni include Kacey Musgraves, Florida Georgia Line, and Maren Morris, all of whom once played here before topping the charts.
