Old Island Days Art Festival Feb. 25-26
January 25, 2023 • KW Tourist
The Key West Art Center is hosting the 58th Annual Old Island Days Art Festival this February 25 and 26. This free, juried show will feature up to 100 fine artists from across the United States showcasing their work in Key West's typically balmy "winter" weather. The booths will stretch along lower Whitehead Street and Caroline Street within the Truman Annex residential enclave.
Event Director and Jewelry Designer Lois Songer stated that the festival offers “a high-quality art experience and a broad exposure to art in various disciplines”. The artistry will be presented in styles ranging from traditional to contemporary to tropical and include work such as watercolors, oil and acrylic paintings, decorative sculpture, mixed-media offerings, ceramic pieces, jewelry, glass and metal creations, and photography.
The festival is presented by the Key West Art Center, a not-for-profit community art organization, and proceeds from the event help support the center's programs and maintain the historic 301 Front St. building that houses its gallery.
All art lovers can experience a unique and creative event in Key West this February 25 and 26. With free admission and beautiful artwork by talented artists, this is an event not to be missed.
