Key West Pride to Feature Parties, Performances and a Parade June 1-5

The island of Key West is gearing up for its annual Pride celebrations, which will take place from June 1-5. The event will showcase the diversity and equality that make Key West a top vacation destination for LGBTQ visitors from all over the world.

There will be plenty of activities to enjoy during the festival, including pool parties, disco dancing, drag shows, theater presentations, and a street fair. Those arriving early can also attend the Pride Follies, which will be held on May 28 at the Key West Theater.

During the festival, there will also be opportunities to take part in museum and nature tours, as well as snorkeling, sunset sails, and eco-tours. The event will kick off with a gala at the Island House Resort, where attendees can enjoy complimentary Stoli cocktails, champagne, and hors d'oeuvres.

Other planned events include a Drag Pool Party and Brunch on Thursday, and a "Just for the Girls" cocktail party on Friday. On Saturday, the Pride Street Fair will take over the 600-900 blocks of Duval Street, and on Sunday, the Pride Parade will make its way through the streets of Key West. After the parade, participants and spectators can gather for the famed Tea Dance at La Te Da.

Whether you're looking for a party or a more low-key experience, there will be something for everyone at this year's Key West Pride festival.
