Key West Holiday Fest Salutes Seasonal Spirit in Island Style


Looking for a unique way to celebrate the holidays? Head to Key West for the Key West Holiday Fest! This festive event runs from Thanksgiving through New Year's Eve and features a variety of activities and attractions celebrating Key West's maritime heritage.

On Nov. 23, the festivities begin with the Lighting of the Harborwalk at the Key West Historic Seaport. This free event features the lighting of tens of thousands of lights, dozens of lighted palm trees, a lobster trap holiday tree, and more.

From Thanksgiving through New Year's Eve, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the festive atmosphere. Highlights include tours of historic lighted inns, the Schooner Wharf Bar/Absolut Vodka Lighted Boat Parade, a hometown holiday parade, performances of the "Nutcracker" ballet, and multiple New Year's Eve "drops."
