Florida Keys' Conch Republic to Commemorate 'Secession' April 21-30

The Conch Republic Days festival is set to take place from April 21-30 in Key West, Florida, featuring a wide range of quirky events. The festival commemorates the symbolic secession of the Florida Keys from the United States in 1982, with highlights including a drag race on Duval Street, a parade from the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico, a reenactment of the secession declaration, and the Great Sea Battle of the Conch Republic. Attendees can also enjoy daily sailings, a pirates ball, artisan events, and a sailing race, as well as the Race World Offshore's Offshore Grand Prix, set to take place on April 30th.
