2023 Florida Keys Fishing Tournament Highlights: January Through June

The Key West Fishing Tournament is a multimonth tournament taking place from December 1, 2022 to July 31, 2023 and targeting more than 40 species of fish. There are divisions for men, women, junior anglers (ages 10 to 15) and Pee Wees (under 10 years old). All participating anglers receive certificates noting their catches and qualify for a variety of prizes and the tournament promotes the release of game fish. The tournament is followed by the Key West Kingfish Mayhem in January, the Cuda Bowl in February, the March Merkin Invitational Permit Tournament in March, the Key West Association of Realtors Sailfish Tournament in April, the Original Big Pine & Lower Keys Dolphin Tournament in June, the VFW Fishing Tournament in June, and the Florida Keys PBA Dolphin Tournament in June. Cash prizes, awards, and different divisions are offered at each tournament, with proceeds from some of the tournaments going towards various charities.
