Blind Squirrel Fishing Charter

The Blind Squirrel is the ultimate deep-sea fishing experience. It's a 63 foot all-purpose built long range fishing machine, with a beam of over 20 feet, that's licensed for up to 40 passengers. Custom built from a David Carambat design, it's made from aluminum for a light, spacious feel.

The large cockpit has four fighting chairs, including two unlimited offshore marlin chairs, two smaller Rockaway chairs, and a rocket launcher for easy trolling and bottom fishing. Rod holders are also fitted along the gunwales, offering easy access to all passengers. In the middle of the cockpit is an immense fish box, along with a small swimming pool called a bait well.

On the starboard side is a 4 foot walk up to the bow for easy access for fishing or lounging in the Key West sun. The bow offers a rail for safety, and a comfortable sitting area in the center. Bean bag chairs are often found here, so passengers can relax and enjoy the ride. The cockpit also has a day head so no fishing action is missed.

The air conditioned raised salon offers a great view of the cockpit and plenty of seating. The double sided dinette is perfect for lounging, eating a meal, or watching TV. Forward of the dinette is a fully equipped galley with a refrigerator, range top, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker – all the necessities for cooking meals at sea. The stairs in the salon lead down to four bunk rooms with 10 bunks, three rooms, and two full bathrooms with showers. The crew also has their own private quarters.
