Zombie Bike Ride 2026 at Fort East Martello – Key West’s Halloween Parade on Wheels
Key West, FL – Sunday, October 18, 2026
The legendary Zombie Bike Ride 2026 returns to Key West for another unforgettable Halloween celebration. What began in 2010 with just a few hundred riders has transformed into one of Fantasy Fest’s signature events, attracting more than 7,500 costumed participants pedaling through the streets in undead style.
Zombieland at Fort East Martello
The undead gathering begins at Fort East Martello at 2 PM, where the grounds transform into Zombieland. Families will enjoy an expanded Kids Zone with bounce houses and activities for young riders, while adults can explore:
-
🎨 Body painting stations (starting at $10) for the ultimate zombie transformation.
-
🍔 Food trucks and a full-service bar to fuel the horde.
-
🎶 Live music and entertainment that set the haunting mood.
Artists and vendors can pre-register to be part of Zombieland, ensuring this is as much a community art experience as it is a bike ride.
The Zombie Bike Parade
At 6 PM sharp, the police-escorted Zombie Bike Parade departs on a 4-mile coastal ride down A1A. Riders roll along the Atlantic, passing hotspots like the Zombie Beach Bash at Salute! On The Beach, before descending into the heart of Old Town. As the sun sets, thousands of costumed zombies fill the streets with a spooky, high-energy vibe that has become a Key West tradition.
Zombiefest Dance Party at Coffee Butler Amphitheater
The parade finale lands at the Coffee Butler Amphitheater, where the FREE Zombiefest Dance Party presented by Rams Head takes over. Expect high-energy music, dancing, and celebration for zombies of all ages. From there, the party spills into Duval Street with the official ZombieFest After Party—the biggest undead street gathering in island history.
