The Waterfront Playhouse invites theater lovers to experience a night of outrageous fun and island energy with The Rocky Horror Show (Encore) — running October 14 through October 23, 2026. This limited engagement marks two milestones: the 51st anniversary of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Key West’s Cult Theatre Celebration Returns
Directed by Tom Thayer, this encore production delivers over-the-top performances and interactive madness that define the Rocky Horror legacy. The 2026 cast includes Kevin Kantor as Frank, Arthur Crocker as Brad, Belle Jampol as Janet, Phillip Cole White as Riff Raff, Cassidy Timms as Columbia, Lauren Thompson as Magenta, Mathias Maloff as Eddie/Dr. Scott, Jeremy Clark as Rocky, and John McDonald as Narrator. Together, they transform the historic Mallory Square stage into a world of glitz, glam, and chaos.
Audience participation takes center stage — from shouting classic call-backs to performing the Time Warp in costume. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early, dress boldly, and immerse themselves in the playful, rebellious energy that has made The Rocky Horror Show an enduring fan favorite.
Why You Shouldn’t Miss It
The Waterfront Playhouse, one of Florida’s longest-running professional theaters, provides the perfect backdrop for this high-energy event. The production not only celebrates a half-century of cult legacy but also honors Key West’s passionate community spirit. Each performance promises a mix of laughter, shock, and show-stopping spectacle — perfect for longtime “Transylvanians” and curious newcomers alike.
Mark your calendars, grab your fishnets, lab coats, or sequined corsets, and get ready to do the Time Warp again. This is one of the most anticipated theatrical events of 2026 in Key West — a wild, unforgettable night of fantasy, music, and pure island mischief.
