Ocean Fest 2024: A Community Celebration in Key West

Truman Waterfront Park will host Mote Marine Laboratory’s Ocean Fest: A Community Celebration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., bringing the community together to honor and protect the marine environment. This family-friendly event features games, crafts, live music, food, local brews, and vendors offering handmade goods and art.
Attendees will meet scientists and conservation organizations, explore interactive exhibits, and learn about critical efforts in coral reef restoration and marine conservation. Proceeds from the festival directly support Mote’s coral research and restoration programs.
Ocean Fest is a cornerstone of Mote’s outreach efforts, raising awareness and funding to protect Florida’s coral reefs. Those unable to attend can support the cause by purchasing a “Protect Our Reefs” specialty license plate or donating online.
