Celebrate the music of Tom Petty with The Broken Hearts, performing live at the Key West Theater on Saturday, November 29, 2025. What began as a one-time tribute after Tom’s passing in 2017 has grown into a nationally touring phenomenon, founded by Tom Petty’s former Mudcrutch bandmate Charlie Souza and powerhouse frontman Shawn Scheller (Save The Radio!, Saigon Kick, The Contenders).
The Broken Hearts now feature an elite cast of musicians including Mateo Olivo (Nine Days) as Mike Campbell, Dave Walker (Robin Trower, The Hazies) as Ron Blair, and Aidan Cain as Benmont Tench. Chris ‘Blu’ McDonald and founding member Scott Lockhart bring multi-instrumental depth with drums, guitar, vocals, and more—while Scheller channels Tom Petty with heartfelt vocals and the passion that defines a true tribute.
Expect a full-throttle evening of fan-favorite hits like “Free Fallin’,” “I Won’t Back Down,” “The Waiting,” “American Girl,” and deeper album cuts that showcase the full range of Petty’s songwriting genius. This is more than a concert—it’s a living celebration of a rock icon.
