Red Barn Theatre opens its 47th season with Shooting Star, the acclaimed romantic comedy by Steven Dietz. Running from December 8, 2026, through January 2, 2027, this touching and humorous production follows two former college sweethearts whose lives unexpectedly reconnect when a snowstorm strands them together overnight in an airport. As memories and emotions resurface, the pair reflect on love, choices, and the roads not taken.
Directed by Artistic Director Joy Hawkins and starring Dave Bootle and Lauren Thompson, Shooting Star launches the theatre's "Bold, Dazzling, Iconic" season with an unforgettable evening of laughter, heartfelt storytelling, and exceptional live performances. Located in the heart of Old Town Key West, the Red Barn Theatre continues its tradition of presenting nationally acclaimed productions in one of the island's most intimate and celebrated performance venues.
