As spring approaches, the Schooner Wharf Bar Wreckers Race Series delivers another colorful harbor spectacle rooted in Key West’s wrecking-era legacy. The third race of the season attracts a wide range of vessels, from classic schooners to modern monohulls.
The mandatory Captain’s Meeting takes place on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 7:00 PM at Schooner Wharf Bar, where captains review final race details and connect with fellow crews over complimentary refreshments.
Race Day unfolds on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 1:00 PM, with competitors sailing the 7-mile course from the Key West Historic Seaport toward Sand Key Lighthouse. Known for its relaxed “no protests” philosophy and emphasis on tradition over trophies, this race exemplifies the spirit of the Wreckers Cup Race Series.
