Monroe County Rules & Regulations:
- Daily Limit: 6 lobsters per person
- Size Requirements: Carapace must be greater than 3 inches, measured in the water
- No Egg-Bearing Lobsters: Harvesting egg-bearing lobsters is prohibited
- Gear Restrictions: Bully nets and hoop nets are allowed; no spearing or devices that puncture the shell
Licensing Requirements:
- Obtain your recreational fishing license and lobster permit from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) or authorized vendors.
