Key West Mermaid Festival at the Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center

The Key West Mermaid Festival is making a splash with its second annual Meet the Mermaids event at the Eco-Discovery Center. Come mingle with a "mer-velous" group of mermaids and snap some fun "shell-fies." As you wander through the ocean-themed exhibits, you'll run into special guests like King Neptune, Ariel and Prince Eric, along with the enchanting Key West mermaid pod. There will be special giveaways, including a King Neptune coloring page. Kids are encouraged to dress up in ocean or mermaid-themed costumes (please, no glitter). The event is free, but a $10 donation is suggested to support the Eco-Discovery Center. Join the fun from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 35 Quay Rd.
