Key West 29th Annual Lobsterfest 2027 - Aug. 11th thru 15th

When: August 11 - August 15, 2027

Where: Duval St, 100-500 Blocks Duval Street, Key West, FL 33040

Key West Lobsterfest 2027 returns in August for one of the island’s biggest summer celebrations, bringing Florida spiny lobster, live music, special dinners, pool parties and the signature Duval Street festival to Key West. The annual celebration coincides with the opening of Florida’s regular spiny lobster season on August 6 and has become one of the most anticipated food festivals of the summer in the Florida Keys.

Centered around Duval Street and historic Old Town Key West, Lobsterfest celebrates the Florida Keys’ longstanding connection to spiny lobster and the beginning of a new harvest season. Visitors can expect several days of lobster-focused events ranging from special dinners and parties to the popular Duval Street Pub Crawl and the festival’s massive Saturday street fair.

The highlight of Key West Lobsterfest is traditionally the free Duval Street Street Fair & Concert, when several blocks of Duval Street become a pedestrian festival filled with local restaurants, bars, artists and vendors. Florida spiny lobster takes center stage, with participating restaurants serving everything from traditional lobster dishes to creative Key West interpretations alongside cold drinks and live entertainment.

Live music is another major part of Lobsterfest, with local Key West musicians and bands performing throughout the festival and a free concert anchoring the Duval Street celebration. The official 2027 entertainment lineup will be added as performers and set times are announced.

Lobsterfest weekend traditionally includes additional events around Key West, including the annual lobster boil, pool parties, the Duval Street Pub Crawl and a Sunday lobster brunch. Individual events may be free or ticketed, and several of the festival’s smaller dining experiences have limited capacity.

The celebration also offers visitors an opportunity to experience Florida spiny lobster at the beginning of the regular harvest season. Under current Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission regulations, the regular recreational and commercial spiny lobster season opens August 6 and continues through March 31. Harvest regulations, size limits, bag limits and protected areas apply throughout the Florida Keys.

Key West Lobsterfest combines one of Florida’s most distinctive local seafood traditions with the atmosphere of Duval Street, making August one of the most exciting times of the summer to experience Key West.

Official 2027 Lobsterfest dates, participating restaurants, ticket information, street fair hours and the live music lineup will be added as they are announced.
