The Key West Food & Wine Festival returns January 27–31, 2027, for five days of culinary experiences, wine, art and international flavors presented throughout Key West. The 2027 festival embraces the theme “Connected by the Oceans,” exploring how the world’s oceans have served for centuries as pathways for ingredients, spices, cooking techniques, wine traditions and cultures moving from one shore to another.
Positioned where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Gulf of Mexico, Key West provides a fitting backdrop for a festival built around the idea that water connects rather than divides us. The 2027 celebration will explore culinary traditions from South Africa, Oceania, South America, Europe and North America through chef-driven dishes, wine pairings, storytelling and special dining experiences.
Art also plays an important role in this year’s festival. Contemporary Cuban artist Humberto Castro brings a visual interpretation to the “Connected by the Oceans” theme, with the festival’s artistic presentation curated by Alaen Ledesma Fernández. Castro’s work adds another layer to the festival’s exploration of migration, geography, culture and the relationship between people and the sea.
The international culinary lineup includes Chef David Fuhrman representing Oceania, Chef Leandro Minelli representing South America, Chef Martin Liz representing South Africa and Chef Jennifer Cornell representing Europe. Chef Karl Stahl brings a Key West perspective to the celebration, connecting the international program back to the island and its own distinctive culinary identity.
Guests can expect a collection of intimate dinners, wine experiences, tastings, chef collaborations and special events held at locations around Key West. Rather than focusing on a single festival venue, the celebration uses the island itself as its setting, giving visitors the opportunity to experience different restaurants, historic properties and gathering places while discovering flavors and wines from around the world.
The Key West Food & Wine Festival takes place Wednesday, January 27 through Sunday, January 31, 2027. Individual events, participating chefs, menus, locations and ticket requirements vary throughout the five-day festival, and many experiences have limited capacity. Festival events are intended for guests age 21 and older.
