The Rotary 4th of July Picnic & Fireworks Spectacular returns to Higgs Beach and Indigenous Park on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, bringing together the Key West community and visitors from around the world for a night of patriotic celebration. This annual Independence Day tradition, presented by the Rotary Club of Key West, blends island charm with community spirit in an unforgettable evening by the sea.

From the moment the festivities begin at 5:00 PM, Higgs Beach transforms into a lively hub of summer fun. Guests can enjoy classic picnic fare and island flavors from local food vendors, while live bands and entertainers fill the air with music that sets the perfect festive mood. The highlight of the evening arrives after sunset, when a breathtaking fireworks display over the Atlantic Ocean lights up the night, launched from the iconic Edward B.
