Celebrate the End of Prohibition in Old Key West Style
Key West is throwing it back to the 1920s with an exciting five-day End of Prohibition Celebration filled with Prohibition-themed films, classic cocktails, history, and live entertainment, all leading up to a grand finale on Thursday, December 5 at the iconic Sloppy Joe's Bar on Duval and Greene Streets.
The highlight of the celebration is Thursday’s final blowout at Sloppy Joe's, featuring a costume contest, giveaways, and a special appearance by an antique Anheuser-Busch truck, bringing a touch of nostalgia to the evening. Attendees are invited to dress in their best flapper and bootlegger attire for a chance to win prizes and toast to the repeal of Prohibition in true Key West fashion.
With an entertainment lineup still being finalized, this festival promises an unforgettable way to celebrate, blending vintage glamor with the lively Key West spirit.
