Key West Art & Historical Society: Bahama Village - Relics of a Fading Community

Bahama Village, in the westernmost portion of the city, was a neighborhood comprised of Black Bahamians and Black Cubans, Chinese, and other groups of color. In this exhibition, their history and stories will be woven together through various events that shaped the Black and Indigenous cultures of Key West.
The public is welcome to join the art and historical society members for an opening night reception on Jan. 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the museum, located at 281 Front Street, Key West. The exhibition continues through March 19.
