Sail into historic exploration with Dry Tortugas National Park Service Ranger Curtis Hall aboard the luxury sailing catamaran Argo Navis On Thursday, December 7, Curtis will lead an illuminating morning seafaring excursion presented by Key West Art & Historical Society aboard the luxury catamaran SV Argo Navis, departing from the dock at 0 Margaret Street at 9:00 a.m. and returning at 11:00 a.m.

Passengers will enjoy Bloody Marys, mimosas or non-alcoholic beverages along with lite breakfast fare as Curtis explores the connections between Fort Zachary Taylor, Fort Jefferson and the Union Naval Blockade. Dubbed the Anaconda Plan by General Winfield Scott, the slow stragulation of commerce in and out of the Gulf of Mexico had punishing impacts for the Confederacy and the course of the American Civil War..

Space is limited to 50 passengers - early registration is recommended.
