Join us for a spooktacular Halloween night at the Green Parrot as we celebrate our 49th Annual Halloween Costume Party with the incredible Empire Strikes Brass band. Get ready to groove to some jam, rock, and R&B tunes that will set the Parrot stage on fire. The party kicks off with shows at 9:00 and 11:00 p.m. and keeps the festivities going until 12:30 a.m.
Empire Strikes Brass, hailing from the vibrant city of Asheville, North Carolina, promises to deliver a musical experience like no other. Formed on the very streets of their hometown, ESB draws inspiration from the rich traditions of New Orleans Brass Bands, featuring second-line parades and infectious grooves that pay homage to old-school funk.
This annual Halloween bash at the Green Parrot has earned a reputation as "The Party We All Train For" and "Locals' Night to Howl." According to manager Jim Fossum, "To the best of our knowledge, this is indeed the 49th Annual Green Parrot Halloween party – we're fairly sure of that. What we are very sure of is that it's still 'The Locals Night to Howl,' and Empire Strikes Brass is going to blow the roof off this place."
