The new album from Gov't Mule, Revolution Come... Revolution Go, is a reflection of the current times we live in. With cleverly-crafted songs and intelligent lyrical commentary, the band sets the tone for their legacy with this new album. It was recorded in Austin, Texas on Election Day, which has impacted the lyrical content of the album. Although it is not a political record, per se, there are definitely political connotations throughout the album. The band explores new territory with this album, while still staying true to their roots in rock, blues, soul, and jazz. With two lead singles already released, "Sarah, Surrender" and "Stone Cold Rage", the album is sure to be a hit with fans old and new.
