Start the holiday on Tuesday, July 4th with a bang at the annual Firecracker 5k, which begins and ends at the Edward B. Knight Pier, 1801 White Street. The race starts at 7:30 a.m. Cost is $30 for both runners and walkers. Packet pickup and in-person registration at the pier on Sunday, July 3rd 4-6 pm, and Monday, July 4th, 6:30 - 7:10 am.
