Fantasy Fest is an annual 10-day party in Paradise for grown-ups that started in 1979. A small group of Key West locals created the party to bring visitors to the island during what was typically a quiet but beautiful season. Fantasy Fest has grown every year since its inception and is now the wildest extravaganza around! Fun-loving revelers from around the globe bring their creativity and imaginations to Key West each year for the event.
The 2023 theme is "Uniforms & Unicorns: 200 Years of Sailing Into Fantasy". This outrageous costuming and masking celebration features flamboyant masquerade competitions including one for pets, a headdress ball, exuberant promenades, street fairs and a grand parade that stars marching groups, island-style bands and lavish floats.
