Get Ready to Glow: The Fantasy Fest 5K and 90's Neon Mile!
Mark your calendars for Monday, October 21st, 2024—it’s time to lace up your sneakers, dust off your neon gear, and get ready to glow! The Fantasy Fest 5K Run/Walk is back, and this year, it’s bigger, brighter, and more electrifying than ever before. Formerly known as the Heroes and Villains 5K, this revamped race has a new name, a new location, and a whole lot of neon magic waiting for you.
Race to the Finish Line—90's Style!
Whether you're a seasoned runner or someone who just wants to have a blast, this 5K promises an experience like no other. The race kicks off at 6:00 PM at the iconic Tiki House Key West on Duval Street. The course will have you running (or walking!) down the vibrant streets of Key West, with a special pit stop at Mary Ellen's Bar for a neon jelly shot that’ll keep you glowing all night long.
But it’s not just the course that’s lit—literally! Participants will cross the finish line to claim their Glow in the Dark Neon Race Medal, and the fun doesn’t stop there. Head back to Tiki House for the Post-Race Party, where everyone will celebrate with free drinks, neon-themed cocktails, or a soft drink of your choice. And of course, no 90’s party is complete without a Hostess Twinkie Cake—a sweet throwback to a sweeter time.
Not Ready for a Full 5K? No Problem!
If a 5K sounds like a bit much, don’t sweat it—just register for the 90's Neon Mile! This one-mile route kicks off right after the 5K, offering all the fun, swag, and shots without the extra steps. Grab your drink, throw on your neon sunglasses, and head straight to the Post-Race Party with a cool breeze on your face and a drink in your hand. It’s going to be da bomb!
