Duval Mile Run 2025 – Key West’s One-Mile Race on Duval Street

The Duval Mile Run 2025 returns on Saturday, October 11, 2025, bringing runners and spectators together for an exciting one-mile sprint down Key West’s legendary Duval Street. Starting at the Duval Street Pocket Park (1400 Duval St.) and racing north to the finish line at Greene Street near Sloppy Joe’s Bar, this family-friendly event showcases the island’s energetic spirit and community pride.

To keep the race safe and fun, a rolling street closure will take place along Duval Street during the run. A full closure from Caroline Street to Greene Street will be in place for the finish line celebration. Streets close at 5:00 PM and reopen once the event concludes around 7:00 PM.

Runners can register for just $30, with registration open until 7:00 PM on race day. Early participants can take advantage of packet pickup on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM at the Basilica School of St. Mary Star of the Sea (700 Truman Ave). Race-day pickup is also available from 5:00 PM – 5:45 PM at the start line.

The first 100 registrants receive a free t-shirt, making it even more worthwhile to sign up early. With a lively atmosphere, cheering fans, and the chance to run down the most iconic street in Key West, the Duval Mile Run is a highlight of the island’s fall calendar.
