One of the most outrageous and entertaining traditions of the Conch Republic Independence Celebration takes over Duval Street as high heels hit the pavement for the legendary Drag Races.
Participants race down Duval Street in flamboyant costumes, towering heels, and full theatrical flair, delivering a spectacle that blends speed, balance, and pure Key West personality. Crowds line the street cheering on racers as they sprint, stumble, and strut their way toward victory.
