Join us for the 36th Anniversary of the Hemingway 5K Sunset Run and Paddleboard Race on July 26, 2025 in Key West, FL. The action begins with race registration at 3:00 PM on July 26, 2025 outside Southernmost Beach Cafe at 1405 Duval Street, followed by a dynamic run/walk starting at 7:30 PM from the iconic Southernmost Point buoy at 1400 Whitehead St. The evening continues with awards and a beach party featuring Papa’s Pilar Rum tastings, Islamorada Beer, live entertainment, and raffles from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The festivities extend into July 27, 2025 with the Key West Beach N’ Beer Mile starting at 12:00 PM. This non-timed race challenges participants to complete four beach loops, offering a custom shirt and bib with beer tickets from Islamorada Beer Co. Held at Southernmost Beach Cafe and ticketed at $55, the event also encourages creative costumes with prizes for Best Team Spirit, Best Dressed, and Least Dressed. The weekend wraps up with a stylish pool party at Rum Row, located at 3824 N Roosevelt Blvd, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, featuring exclusive drink specials.
