Dave Bootle has had a long and varied career in the entertainment industry. As a young man, he had to choose between pursuing his passion for music and gymnastics, and he chose music. He took his solo show on the road, and then accepted an offer to be an actor and stunt performer for a theme park. This led to him forming a band called "Dave Bootle & The Producers" and writing a song entitled "Australia".
While in Australia, Dave also did stunt work for television commercials, films, and other productions. However, after a brush with death on a stunt gone wrong, he chose to leave the stunt business and return to Canada. There, he developed his professional repertoire and wrote and produced his first album of original tracks, titled "I'm In Trouble". He also performed a charitable performance for the Terry Fox Run, and then took his act to Bermuda, where he became a house-entertainer and the headline act at a pub and restaurant.
Dave's career has now brought him to Key West, Florida, where he has performed in numerous theatre productions and musical venues. He has been a part of the entertainment family at Mango's for several years now, and he invites his fans from all over the world to join him there. At Mango's, guests can enjoy a night of live music under the stars, lounging beneath the Banyan tree or dancing the night away.
