Seaplane to Dry Tortugas – Key West Seaplane Adventures

Experience one of the fastest and most scenic ways to reach Dry Tortugas National Park with Key West Seaplane Adventures, the only seaplane service permitted to fly guests directly from Key West to the park. Departing from the General Aviation side of Key West International Airport, this bucket-list excursion combines low-altitude sightseeing, Fort Jefferson history, snorkeling, beach time, and unforgettable aerial views of the Florida Keys and Gulf waters.

Guests can choose a Half-Day Excursion of just under 4 hours with about 2.5 hours of island time, or a Full-Day Excursion of just under 8 hours with about 6.5 hours at Fort Jefferson and Dry Tortugas. The flight takes approximately 40 minutes each way, giving visitors more time in the park compared with longer boat travel.

Each trip includes a narrated flight, window-seat views, complimentary snorkeling equipment, bottled water or soft drinks, and time to explore one of America’s most remote national parks. Guests should note that the National Park Service entrance fee is additional and collected at check-in for applicable passengers.
