Family-run since 1978, this compact market continues to supply the island’s community with traditional Cuban comfort food, signature sandwiches, and bold island-style coffee that fuels early mornings from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
The aroma of authentic Café con Leche steams through the doorway before sunrise, enticing regulars and first-timers alike. Classic pan Cubano and guava pastries accompany the morning rush, followed by a steady wave of Cuban toast and breakfast sandwiches pressed to perfection.
By midday, the line forms for legendary Cuban Mix sandwiches, layered with citrus-marinated pork, ham, Swiss, pickles, mustard, aioli, and crisp lettuce and tomato, all sealed with a hot press that crackles as it’s served. A sweet twist appears in the Midnight sandwich on pillowy, slightly sweet bread, while other favorites include steak and onions, roast beef, and a flavorful veggie press made for heavy cravings.
